A Hidden Organic Farm-to-Table Restaurant in Kata-Karon

If you’re looking for a local Thai restaurant in Phuket that blends authentic flavors, organic ingredients, and a natural atmosphere, Greenheart Garden Restaurant is your answer. Tucked away in the Kata-Karon area, this hidden gem offers more than a meal—it’s a peaceful escape. Nestled in the green and a sea breeze, every visit is going to another world. With ocean scenery and serene garden atmosphere, Greenheart Garden is where peace of mind and great taste unite. It's a must-visit farm-to-table restaurant in south Phuket for those seeking peace and flavor.

"Mae Luan," the founder of Greenheart Garden, tells how it all began—with love for the family and coexisting with nature. Her father used to adopt single-crop farming, which was perilous and yielded only one crop annually. But things changed after adopting King Rama IX's sufficiency economy principles. They made the same piece of land fruitful as an organic farm. With year-round production and constant cropping, their farm was a paradigm for what it is to be strong, rooted in care, harmony, and the idea that one good thing should be shared.

When they understood just how fresh and tasty their produce tasted, Mae Luan had an inspiration: "Why not share this with others as well?" This inspiration spawned the opening of Greenheart Garden Restaurant—a farm-to-table restaurant with homegrown, chemical-free foods. Every meal is lovingly made, using vegetables, herbs, and fresh fruit plucked directly from their garden. One that stands out is the Chicken & Banana Coconut Curry, made with free-range chicken and ripe bananas from their own trees, simmered in rich, fresh-pressed coconut milk.

It's a rare southern dish you can't find anywhere quickly, and its warm flavor keeps repeat customers coming back again and again. Another must-try is the Nam Prik Pla Ching Chang—a spicy fermented fish chili paste made with tiny dried fish known for their savory depth. Pair it with warm jasmine rice or fresh vegetables straight from the garden, and you’ll get a bite that’s bold, balanced, and unforgettable. But Greenheart Garden isn’t just about great food. It's a positive influence on local society—providing jobs for Kata-Karon locals, promoting organic sustainable agriculture, and being a local enterprise.

It's here that every meal has a greater purpose—raising lives, preserving nature, and honoring tradition that feeds body and soul. Perhaps you're a Phuket local, a guest seeking authentic Thai food, or a family looking for secure, organic food. Regardless, Greenheart Garden Restaurant welcomes you. Appreciate breathtaking garden views, freshly prepared food, and a story of sustainability. Every experience is a journey from earth to soul—Thai food with a story. It's one of the few places in southern Phuket where you can truly taste the soil, meet the people, and feel the purposeVisit once, and you'll understand why this place is loved by everyone.

Cherhouse Cafe’ Farm & More: The Way The Wind Whips

The beginning of “Cherhouse Cafe’ Farm & More” came from a family's desire to create a small, peaceful community space for knowledge exchange, workshops, and harmony with nature. By taking what was readily available, they created and expanded upon it to pass on to you in the form of “Cherhouse Cafe’ Farm & More”—namely, the father’s knowledge of Robusta coffee beans, starting from cultivation all the way to the creation of special menu items for you.

“Cherhouse Cafe’ Farm & More” is dedicated and meticulous in every step of the production process to ensure you receive the very best. They also host “Community Workshops” for knowledge exchange or to educate those who are interested in coffee roasting, soap base making, or even soil preparation. You can contact the cafe to participate in these activities. And of course, what we want to present beyond the coffee is the “Homemade Bakery,” which is both delicious and fresh, evoking the warm feeling of a mother’s hug from your childhood. A menu item you cannot miss is the “Young Coconut Cake,” which is the cafe’s “Signature Cake.” The cake itself is soft with the sweet fragrance of young coconut; if you try it, you will immediately redefine the term “Young Coconut Cake” in your mind.

BABOON

"Specialty coffee" isn't just a term for high-quality coffee beans; it's a philosophy encompassing every process, from sourcing the cultivation area and meticulous care in processing to roasting that fully brings out the beans' potential and precise brewing by skilled baristas to achieve the best-tasting coffee in every cup. The journey of specialty coffee is full of stories and dedication, and "BABOON" truly values every single one of these elements.

The inception of "BABOON" stemmed from the strong desire of its founders to create a space that's more than just a coffee shop. It's a central hub for a community of quality coffee lovers who can exchange knowledge, share experiences, and savor excellent coffee. Their expertise and passion for the "science of specialty coffee" form the core of everything they create, starting with the decision to invest in opening their own "coffee roastery" to control quality from the source and craft exceptional menus in every cup.

"Here," the utmost importance is placed on meticulousness at every step. This begins with selecting "green beans" from leading cultivation sources worldwide, seeking out beans with distinctive flavor profiles and compelling stories. These are then subjected to the shop's unique roasting process by an expert and highly skilled team to distinctly highlight the character of each coffee. Beyond perfect drip coffee or espresso shots, we also want to introduce our uniquely crafted signature menus, such as "Decaf Cold Brew with Pistachio Cream." This is a refreshing and complex-tasting beverage, perfectly blending the rich aroma of pistachio cream, but without the caffeine

Rongkopi Cafe & Birthday Cake Phuket

A warm atmosphere, authentic flavors – if you're seeking these, "Rongkopi Cafe & Birthday Cake" offers it all. Here's why we're sharing their story and inviting you to discover a charming piece of the past you won't forget.

"Kopitiam" is the term for Phuket's traditional coffee shop culture, where "Kopi" is Hokkien Chinese for coffee, and "Tiam" means shop. A Kopitiam is more than just a coffee shop; it's a local coffee council, a community hub where people gather to chat, sipping strong traditional coffee with patongko (fried dough) or local snacks in the morning. This simple yet vibrant culture is the soul and fundamental root of "Rongkopi."

Kanta

If you're looking to do something truly special and one-of-a-kind regarding a meal experience while you're here in Phuket, something that's greater than a delicious meal, then we have a special treat for you. It's an atmosphere that we believe best captures the island's heart and soul in a very special way. The restaurant itself is called Kanta, and it's so much more than just a place to eat—although that sounds just fine—it's a wonderful cultural experience that we think you'll find simply delightful and enchanting.

Kanta stands apart as so special due to its exquisite blending of ancient Peranakan flavorings with a fresh, new twist. You may already know that Phuket has such a greatly complex and profound history, and Peranakan cuisine is the perfect tasting of it. It's this amazing food heritage derived from the "Baba Nyonya" culture. In the early days, when the Chinese traders and miners came to the island, they settled down with the local Thai women and built families. Their cultures blended through generations, evolving a unique identity of its own, with its own dialect, architecture, fashion sense, and, most significantly, its cuisine. Peranakan food makes use of the best of Chinese, Malay, and Southern Thai culinary heritage to produce dishes that possess an unparalleled richness and a rich, pungent potency that truly sets them apart.

Kanta doesn't just cook this food; it celebrates the entire heritage behind it. You can genuinely taste the perfection and the enormous level of detail that goes into absolutely everything that Kanta does. They are deeply devoted to freshness; that is evident in their entire operation. Because they are locals too, they were able to build close connections directly with the fishermen to eliminate the middlemen and be able to serve the seafood they present as fresh as possible, sometimes freshly caught the same day. They even have their own off-site visits at the local market for their own chefs to personally choose the freshest ingredients. Furthermore, all their required curry pastes and sauces are lovingly made in-house from scratch. It is a commitment that sets everything apart; you can literally taste and feel it.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is just as one-of-a-kind as their food. The minute you enter, you're transported. They've created an exquisite, modern tropical ambience that's both refined and breathtakingly welcoming. It's not the typical beachfront ambiance; it instead brings lush, green, and flowery sophistication to the city center. The whole restaurant has been designed as an end-to-end sensory experience. Every aspect of it, from the beautiful presentation of the dishes to the lighting and design, has been thought out. It has a really stunning visual atmosphere that encourages you to engage with the world around you—it's definitely somewhere where you'll want to take a few pictures!

PARADAi: From Cocoa in the Backyard to the World Stage

Thai cocoa and community improvement are the roots of value.

The story of PARADAi begins in Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, when a group of friends who worked in the food sector thought that the "backyard cocoa trees" of Thai farmers were a great hidden treasure. Instead of ignoring this local resource, they saw how much potential it had. They decided to make a long-term business plan by buying cocoa pods directly from homes in several regions, such as Chanthaburi and Nakhon Si Thammarat. This project not only gives these communities a steady source of income, but it also gives them the raw ingredients they need to make beautiful chocolate with great skill and competence.
